About Bellamour Home Farm & Me

About me....I'm a huge animal lover! I've loved animals always (I take after my Mother) and see myself as a Dr Dolittle, nothing makes me happier. Here at Bellamour Home Farm we have Dogs, Chickens, a Parrot, a Tortoise and a Guinea Pig, so there is never a dull or quiet moment!

How Bellamour Home Farm all started...Well my dream since being a child was to have my own small holding/farm but with 3 young children and not enough time it never happened. Then at the start of 2019 with my children all being teens I took the plunge and finally got my first birds, 3 Hybrid hens and then the dream began!

Where we are now....After getting the hybrids I was in love with Chickens, no long after the Hybrids came the Silkie breed and I instantly fell in love with them. They are so small but they make up for this with their huge personalities and fluffiness. We no longer hatch or sell Silkie Chicks or eggs, as we cut our flock down. At the start of 2023 we decided to add some Game birds, Japanese Quails and again Im in love, for such a small bird they are such characters. We hope in the New Year to start selling their eggs and also hatch some chicks, we are also introducing Black to our lines...so watch this space.

The future....I hope to one day add more animals but for now I'm content and happy with my little home farm.
